**Relief Pharmacy Delivery Driver**

**This is a zero hours contract**

**Starting rate of pay: Up to £10.80 per hour**

To cover our drivers annual leave, sickness at our branches across Brighton, Hove, Southwick and Peacehaven area.

We are looking for someone who is able to be contacted at short notice or pre-booked in advance.

Regular work can not be guaranteed.

**Hours: This is depending on route you will be covering - **routes can range from 3 hours - 7 hours depending on the zone/area you are covering.

Some of the routes can involve delivering up to 100 prescription packages per day.

Where possible we will provide a company vehicle to complete the round but some routes will need to use a suitable own vehicle with correct insurance.

**Role and Responsibility**
- We are looking for a delivery driver required with a caring, friendly nature and good attitude to represent Kamsons Pharmacy when delivering medication to our patients and customers. This is an essential extension of our pharmacy service. Delivering medication to our patients is a vital service provided by community pharmacy. We look for reliable drivers that people can trust.
- The applicant will need excellent communication skills to ensure information is passed to the customer correctly and relay information back to our pharmacy team accurately.
- The applicant needs to be able to work effectively to time deadlines to ensure deliveries reach the customer in a timely manner ensuring that procedures are followed and be flexible to come back to the pharmacy to deliver any emergency prescriptions as required
- You will support the Pharmacy team, ensuring deliveries reach the correct patient. It is essential that medications are delivered responsibly and securely in accordance with the company SOPs. You will need good organisational skills to enable you to plan your route efficiently.
- We are looking for an applicant with good organisational skills and eye for detail which is essential for _**planning and organising their route **_around the area. You will need to be able to use a handheld phone and programme for marking out deliveries and route optimisation
- For this role you will be required to remain flexible on a day to day basis in order to meet the needs of the individual branches you are working for that day.
