This exciting opportunity has arisen due to further expansion with the opening of another country pub/restaurant, so we are seeking another fresh team of self-motivated, experienced and dedicated kitchen professionals. Wages and profit-share packages aredesigned to significantly exceed market average at all times, and we also offer a generous employee benefits package.

Our pubs offer TripAdvisor-headlining fine dining and a very warm welcome; while one is a large family-orientated and wedding-licensed (200+ capacity) venue with indoor and outdoor bars, restaurant, function rooms, the other is a more exclusive 'heart-of-the-community'operation. Both kitchens were recently totally refurbished to the highest standards, and we are now looking forward an exciting time ahead as we reap the benefits of post-pandemic demand.

We are looking to recruit an experienced new team comprising:
**HEAD CHEF - salary to £41,600 plus profit-share and benefits**

**SOUS CHEF - salary to £32,500 plus profit-share and benefits**

**CHEF DE PARTIE - salary to £26,000 plus profit-share and benefits**

**KITCHEN PORTER (x2) - salary to £19,760 plus profit-share and benefits**

In all cases, a passion for good food - mainly locally-sourced - and an eye for presentation is a must. In a busy team, it is important that all members are friendly and outgoing.

**HEAD CHEF**: You will be responsible for menu development and execution to drive sales and focus on the food products that enhances the customer experience. As Head Chef, you will be expected to produce a variety of food,freshly made to order. You will be expected to take ownership of the food you produce, in partnership with the Sous Chef.

This role would be perfect for a Head Chef who is hungry for a new challenge.

**SOUS CHEF**: You will be expected to be continually support the development of the food offer under supervision of the Head Chef. You will be responsible for supporting menu development and execution in order to drive salesand focus on the food products that enhances the customer experience. As Sous Chef, you will be expected to produce a variety of food from freshly made to order. You will be expected to take ownership of the food you produce, in partnership with the Head Chef.

- _An interest in curing and smoking meats would be an advantage_
- _Assist the Head Chef on the day to day running of the kitchen and cover in their absence_
- _Have a good level of food knowledge and an understanding of modern food preparation techniques_
- _Committed to delivering first class service_
- _A can-do attitude, hands on approach and the ability to work well under pressure_
- _Excellent communication and the ability to lead and work well with others_
- _Great organisational skills and the ability to multitask_
- _Demonstrate and promote teamwork within the kitchen and front of house_

**KITCHEN PORTER**: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but most importantly you will be team-player with a 'can-do' approach, punctual and within easy travelling distance of North East Hertfordshire.
