**About Us**:
We are a nurturing and child-centred residential home committed to providing outstanding care and support to children and young people. We are currently seeking a dedicated **Quality Assurance Worker** to help us maintain high standards and continuous improvement in line with Ofsted expectations and best practices in residential childcare.

**Job Purpose**:
To support the management team by auditing and reviewing systems, documentation, and practices within the home. You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with legislation, internal policies, and regulatory standards while promoting a culture of reflection and improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and review records, care plans, and documentation for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Identify areas for improvement and support the development of action plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of children’s home regulations, safeguarding, and best practice.
- Provide feedback and guidance to staff and managers to support continuous improvement.
- Carry out file audits and compliance checks in line with the Quality Assurance Framework.
- Assist with preparing for Ofsted inspections and responding to inspection outcomes.
- Report findings clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and digital care systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- A good understanding of safeguarding, children’s home regulations (such as The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015), and quality assurance processes.
- Previous experience in a residential childcare or social care setting.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal formats.
- A passion for improving outcomes for children and young people.

**Desirable**:

- NVQ Level 3 or above in Residential Childcare, Health and Social Care, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks.
- Experience conducting audits or contributing to quality assurance systems.

Pay: £28,774.00-£30,628.00 per year
