**About the role**

Babcock has been selected as the Metropolitan Police Service’s (Met Police) learning partner, working with a consortium of four London-based universities - Anglia Ruskin University, Brunel University London, University of East London and University of West London - to support the UK’s largest police service with the training of its new officer recruits from 2020.

The partnership with the Met Police will last until at least 2028, with a possibility to extend for a further two years, and is set at a maximum contract value of £309 million, dependent on the number of recruits trained under the programme.

Due to this exciting contract win, we are now looking to recruit a Senior Quality Assurance Lead who will be responsible for managing a team of Module Leads to ensure quality compliance and adherence to the IQA strategy.

You’ll manage the internal quality cycle process. Including the development and monitoring of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) in conjunction with the individual lines of business. Ensuring all improvement actions identified are implemented in line with the plan.

Other responsibilities include training of staff and conducting observations of teaching, learning and assessment providing clear, constructive, supportive and timely feedback.

As the Senior Quality Assurance Lead, you’ll share best practice and lead standardisation activities to enhance and develop the programme and ensure consistency of assessment decisions. As well as supporting delivery staff to create and implement action plans to ensure students are actively engaged and enable student progression

**What do I need to be able to do the role?**

You will need to have extensive quality assurance knowledge as well as in depth knowledge of Ofsted standards as well as Relationship management experience with Awarding Organisations.

We’d also like you to have comprehensive understanding of the Education Inspection Framework and compliance requirements and experience quality assuring subcontracted provision.

We would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

- A level 7 qualification.
- Relevant Quality and / or Teaching qualifications.
