**Permanent Full time employed Role (this is not a short term contract)**

We are a leading door fitting company based in Yorkshire operating within the fire door protection market. We operate Nationwide and **most** of our work involves **being away from home** **Monday to Friday**. We work in healthcare settings and therefore you would need to pass a DBS check.

We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Fire Door Fitter / Carpenter to work on projects across the country. You will be working alongside an experienced Fire Door Fitter, who will spend time training you.

You will usually be working in occupied buildings doing full Fire Door installs and related remedial works, such as removing existing doors and frames and installation of full door sets.

**Qualifications / Experience Required**

You may be recently out of college looking for your first role, or have recently passed their NVQ level 2 or apprenticeship looking to gain more experience.

If you have no training we will still consider you, but you need to be able to demonstrate and explain why you are interested in joinery.

You need to have:

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take instructions.
- Be reliable
- Be able to communicate at all levels
- Professional
- Driving license
- **Must be prepared to acquire your own set of tools over the first few months and work towards getting a CSCS card.**
