Fleet Vehicle Checker

Driver Hire Birmingham South are looking for a Fleet Vehicle Checker to work for our client in Redditch. This is a temporary to permanent contract to start ASAP.
**The position will require alternate weekend working, please read shift patterns below.**
As a Fleet Vehicle Checker, you will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are checked to determine basic standards are always adhered to, with any defects reported and rectified. In addition, you will provide support to other departments where needed.
- Record all checks and condition of the fleet and vehicle equipment upon return to site
- Maintain a clean and clear site, managing flow of traffic and parking of vehicles to allow safe passing and access.
- Loading / unloading and maintenance of equipment
- Valeting
**Qualifications**
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Able to work to a high standard delivering quality
- Adapt to changes quickly and efficiently
**Shift patterns and pay**:
The shift pattern below shows a 2 weekly rotating pattern. You will be working every other weekend and have every Friday off.
- **Week one**
08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Thursday.
- **Week two**
08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Sunday, excluding Friday.

**ay Rate: £12.33**
**(PAYE ADV includes holiday allowance) - Other pay models available**
