**About you**
- You will have a clear passion and track record in logistics.

- Be proficient in literacy, mathematics and IT
- You must be eligible to work in the UK.
- A background in food production and/or logistics/warehousing would be an advantage
- Experience in leading a small team

**About the role**

The purpose of this role is to provide a section of support within an ever-growing shift duration, it's a varied role where one day you could be covering a delivery run, the next showcasing your exceptional picking skill and the next providing support to the drivers and pickers to replenish stock or helping load. You’ll need to have a passion for logistics with a keen eye for detail and a logístical mindset to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of our daily and nightly runs. Part of this efficiency will be to ensure that goods are being dispatched correctly by checking all picked stock before loading.

You will work closely with the driving team in guiding and assisting them in providing our partners with the best possible service.

This role will be ever evolving, therefore a ‘can-do’ attitude is a must, part of your ‘can-do’s’ will include the need to cover both driving and picking staff sickness and annual leave. There may also be the need to perform ad hoc deliveries and/or assist with picking when required.

As you will be working with chilled goods in a chilled environment, you will be required to work a portion of your shift in temperatures 3 degrees or below

- Picking & packing: 1 year (preferred)
- Delivery driving: 3 years (required)
- Driving: 8 years (required)
