**Overview**

SaccoMann are working closely with a successful North East private practice who are looking to bring an experienced Chartered Legal Executive to join their Claims Solutions Casualty Injury team based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

**The firm**

Our client is a leading international law firm who are recognised across the board for their expertise in a wealth of areas of law and pride themselves on the high-quality legal services they provide on an international scale, stemming from their Londonhead office. The Claims Solutions Casualty Injury team advises corporate clients in their defence of claims of a range of values.

**The role**
- You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of claims against commercial clients, largely within the retail and care sector
- This will include a mixture of fast track and multi track matters
- You will also be required to supervise a small team of lawyers on their fast track caseloads
- You will be the main point of contact for your clients and providing accurate and jargon-free advice
- From time to time, you can expect to be assisting the more junior members of your team on their case planning and strategy, whilst supervising their work
- Billing and credit control policies and protocols are in place and you will be expected to work against these guidelines
- You will be issued a budgeted annual target of minimum 1440 hours per year
- The firm place a firm focus on business development and you will be required to contribute to marketing events and client training sessions
- Ideally, you will be a Chartered Legal Executive with experience from an EL/PL background, although this is not essential
- You must be a confident communicator with excellent client care skills and the ability to build solid relationships across the board
- You will have excellent legal knowledge gained from previous experience in your sector of operation
