Full-time, permanent, Residential Support Worker, Chester, Cheshire.

You must have experience of working within the Social Care or Children’s Sector. You may have experience working in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, residential childcare service, or a nursery? What is important is being enthusiastic, proactive,and having a passion for working within the sector.
- £21,350 - £25,000 per annum DOE.
- Full-time hours, 37.5-hours per week.
- Shifts - 2 earlies, 3 lates, & 1 long shift every other weekend (8am - 10pm).
- Set 2-week rota so can fit around your life.
- Night shifts are 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
- Comprehensive training package.
- Must hold NVQ Level 3 in either Residential Childcare or Children and Young Peoples Workforce, Health & Social Care, or Child Development.

**The Service**

We are recruiting on behalf of a newly opened, special, independent residential school with aspirations to be the very best in the UK. Their day and residential school are for up to 30 Children and young adults aged between 4 - 19 living with Learning Disabilities,Autism, and challenging behaviours. Set within a newly refurbished, historic setting, they have created the perfect for environment for the children and young people to achieve their aspirations and reach their full potential. Decorated by award winning decorators,it is not only a fantastic place for the children to enjoy and to flourish in but is also a lovely place to work too.

**Your Role**

As a Residential Support Worker, you will join a highly skilled team supporting the children on a 1:1 basis. The service is 30-bedded and set across 4 properties, all next to each other and all set in their own grounds. You will help support the needs ofthe children/young people, creating a safe and nurturing environment in which they can flourish.
