Chesterfield based with an annual salary of £26,000 to £28,000 per annum plus a benefits package within a rapidly expanding company

Are you?
- An experienced CAD Technician
- Degree qualified in industrial design or equivalent (HND will be considered)
- Experienced taking on research and development projects
- Experienced using Solidworks & Autodesk Inventor

Do you?
- Have a strong technical and engineering background
- Have the ability to work to small tolerances

The Role

The CAD Technician will:

- Thoroughly research new materials and processes
- Utilise software to create 3D models
- Attend design meetings with different departments
- Effectively test prototypes
- Modify designs until the best version is reached to achieve market positioning, price and quality
- Create works process for building of NPDs along with training the manufacturing team on the build process
- Track & monitor NPDs
- Work with sales and marketing departments
- Reviewing and updating of work process manuals
- Aid in the Creation of product instructions, data sheets and literature
