The Role: General Kitchen Assistant
- Weekends - Lowe House - Knebworth

Time: Weekends - 10 hours per week

Rate of Pay: £10.42

**Job Description**:

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to work within our Assisted Living Business, which boasts a welcome and friendly atmosphere.

The purpose of the post is: To provide a high quality and passionate catering service to students, staff and visitors.

The main duties and responsibilities are:
Service
- Keep the kitchen and bistro area clean at all times.

Food Preparation
- To prepare and assist the chef in general preparation when necessary.
- To maintain correct food storage and holding temperatures at all times.

General
- To act at all times within the current Health and Safety at Work regulations.
- To provide a support and guidance to work experience placements.
- Promote excellent customer service to all customers.
- Carry out any other reasonably comparable duties that may be required from time to time.
- Undertake additional duties as required.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience in a similar role an advantage but full training will be given.
- Be willing and excited at the prospect of further development through Radish development training.
- Have a flare for communication and enjoy working as part of a team.
- To remain, at all times, respectful of equal opportunities.

Safeguarding is of the upmost importance to Radish therefore you will be required to complete a full DBS Clearance.
