**The Role - School Cleaner**
**(3pm to 6.30pm)**

To carry out a cleaning service in specified areas of the school to a high standard as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor and/or Site Manager and in accordance with the cleaning specification.Some flexibility is required as there may be times when youare required assist with staff shortfalls or emergency situations.

**Key Responsibilties/Duties**
- To ensure the correct use of cleaning materials and understand the safe use of all substances andmanage to COSHH regulations.
- To ensure the correct collection, storage, and removal of waste/rubbish from work area to collection point.
- To ensure you are adhering to the colour coding directives and are regularly changing mop heads, cloths, and other equipment.
- To ensure that you always conduct yourself in a professional and smart manner and wear any uniform or PPE as provided.
- To check and replenish all consumable dispensers in all the toilets and tea points.
- To attend to spillages and other emergency cleaning.
- To clean and sanitise touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces.
- To attend training as and when required
- To comply with the service level agreement
- Damp-wipe tables, chairs desks and hard surfaces
- Vacuum all soft floors and carpets
- Mop hard floors and empty bins

**Skills**
- Experience in a school environment would be preferred.
- To be able to demonstrate the behaviour required as outlined in the Living the values section of the Pinnacle Way booklet.
