Our vision is _to improve and protect the health and wellbeing of people living and working in Warwickshire and to reduce inequalities_.
Public Health is both strategic and operational and has a wide span of interests. Our core business areas include health protection; 0-19 services; sexual health; promoting healthy lifestyles and tackling obesity; smoking and vaping; drug and alcohol; mental health, and domestic abuse. We commission services for many of these areas, and have a core group of commissioners in-house, which the successful applicant will join.
The work our service does makes a major contribution to the council's strategic plan, particularly to the following priority: _We want to be a County where all people can live their best lives; where communities and individuals are supported to live safely, healthily, happily and independently._

- Engage and consult with Warwickshire residents, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and delivery partners.
**Qualifications and Experience**:

This post requires the ability to manage complex projects, a high degree of resilience and excellent project management skills. You will have strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders and partners and the ability to manage and maintain effective relationships with providers and partner agencies at local, regional, and national levels.
