Quest Search & Selection are working with a leading premium specialist food retailer who have stores in and around London. This business has been around for over 20 years and are looking to double the number of stores they have.

With a recent Acquisition the business is looking for Deputy Managers across their store estate in London.

As the Deputy Manager you will be responsible for delivering the sales strategy on the shop floor by surpassing service targets and hitting all other KPIs.

**Responsibilities include in this management position -**
- Leadership of your team through engagement of your team through daily briefings.
- Inspiring the store team to achieve sales & wastage targets
- Ensuring that all Store compliance & Health & Safety procedures are updated and followed,
- Deputising for the Store Manager in their absence
- Working with the Store Manager on the recruitment of high-quality colleagues
- Ensuring that you are up to date on product knowledge
- Working with the Commercial team on information regarding new products & promotions
- People management and training & development to upskill your team.
- Ensuring that your store consistently provides outstanding customer service and store standards

**This Deputy Manager Job opportunity would be suited to a -**
- Assistant/Store management, Team Leader, Supervisor, Deputy or Duty Management experience
- Have experience of managing teams of 5 +
- Has an understanding of wastage or stock rotation
- Great operations experience looking after retail standards
- Has managed the shop floor the absence of a manager
- Extremely strong customer service skills
- Flexible & collaborative
- Personality counts for a lot so enthusiasm, passion, great communication skills
