The Great British Card Company (GBCC) is one of the UK’s largest independent card publishers supplying customers including large UK supermarkets, high street specialists, garden centres and post offices both in the UK and via distributors overseas. Publishing and selling 20 million cards across everyday and seasonal such as Christmas and Mother’s Day. In addition, we supply gift wrap, gift packaging and gift stationery. Operating out of our modern facilities near Gloucester we strive to make sure that we continue to have the best product assortment for our discerning customers.

The hours for this role are from 25 to 30 per week, but you will be expected to be office based for five days per week with flexibility on start and finish times. The prorated salary rage for these hours is £13,300 - £17,600 per annum.

We are seeking a part time finance assistant with experience in purchase ledger and any experience in sales ledger would be a bonus, but on the job training can be given. Responsibilities will include posting invoices, employee expenses, preparation of statements for suppliers, bank reconciliations and responding to supplier queries.

As this is an all round role there may be a need to help out in other areas as required, such as credit control and business use of Excel would be an advantage.
