Partech, a leading supplier of water quality measurement equipment, has an excellent opportunity for an Assembler in our production department. We are looking to find an enthusiastic person to join our highly successful company, to work in our production team carrying out electro-mechanical assembly work on our low volume, high tech products.

**Position title**: Production Assembler

**Reports to**:Operations Manager

**Job Type**: Full-time/permanent, Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 17:00 and Friday 08:30 to 12:30 (36 hours)

**Location**: Bugle (PL26 8RA) with easy access from St Austell, Bodmin and the A30

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assemble, calibrate, and test instrumentation
- Track time, quality, and delivery by work area
- Feedback to operations manager and/or engineering on any issues that may arise
- Manage time and priorities to meet customer orders
- Ensure that all products meet our customer requirements of Quality, Delivery, and Cost
- Any other duties as requested or needed

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Excellent manual dexterity
- Strong soldering skills
- Ability to use a variety of test equipment and test systems
- Proven critical thinking skills
- Ability to work closely and effectively with engineering
- Problem solver and team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to produce high quality results
- Proven communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and responsibilities when necessary
- Computer skills - Basic understanding of Windows operating system and the ability to learn in house systems

**DESIRED ATTRIBUTES**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with high-tech, electro-mechanical assembly
- Experience in through hole and surface mount soldering
- Experience with sensors and measuring equipment

**WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS**:

- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 kg
- Lifting, bending, reaching, squatting, walking, sitting
