Join the team at Arbury Court in Warrington as a Consultant Psychiatrist providing care and treatment for adult women with a wide range of mental health issues in low secure and psychiatric intensive care (PICU) settings. Arbury Court is one of the largestwomen's secure hospitals in the country, with years of experience in changing women's lives for the better.

You will have access to excellent CPD, and the support of a large peer group of enthusiastic and high-calibre consultants from varied specialties.

Your responsibilities will include:
Optimising patient care
Driving a highly skilled and dedicated multi-disciplinary team in collaboration with other professionals
Helping to meet the requirements of statutory bodies
Participation in a 1:16 two tier medical on-call rota
Providing leadership to the clinical team
Ensuring the highest standards are met throughout all levels of the service
Assessing new referrals and ensure that the service meets the needs of those who are appropriately admitted
Contributing to the training, education and development of others
Participating actively in regular meetings with colleagues and the Lead Consultant
Ensure high quality liaison and good relationships with external agencies such as commissioning bodies
To hold MRCPsych or equivalent, and a CCT
To be innovative, motivated, and passionate about women's mental health care
Have essential understanding of current developments in psychiatry
