White Oak are currently recruiting for a Full Time BI Developer to join our Data and Analytics team based in Chester. This role can be offered on a hybrid or remote basis.

**What will I be responsible for?**

Joining our team as a BI Developer, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting business-critical data as well as developing, testing and deploying new solutions and enhancements to existing reports. There may also be innovation opportunities andproofs of concept. Other duties include:

- Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures, functions and reports using T-SQL
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the business to provide analytical reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
- Liaise with third parties to drive quality analytics implementations
- Create advanced analytical reports to business specification in Power BI
- Maintain and develop ETL processes to ensure data availability and integrity
- Monitor running jobs across all SQL servers and investigate/resolve any job failure notifications

**Who are we looking for?**

As our BI Developer, you will have proven knowledge of SQL Server Full Stack (particularly SSRS and SSIS). You will also require the following skills and experience:

- Knowledge of database development and management
- Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
- Awareness of Data Warehousing concepts
- Experience of using source control tools and methodology when developing
- Experience with SSAS / TDM modelling
- Knowledge of PowerBI, ability to create dynamic reports
- Knowledge of ETL concepts including the extraction of data from operational systems into reporting databases
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability

**Desirable Skills**
- Knowledge of Python
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and reporting inside Salesforce
- Knowledge of the finance industry and the products offered

**What we can offer you**:
As our BI Developer, we can offer a salary of between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependant on experience plus a range of benefits including 28 days holiday, private medical insurance, travel insurance, pension contributions, EAP, Cycle to Work and more.
