We are recruiting for a Senior Support Worker offering full time, permanent contracts
- 37 hours per week based in Dover CT17.

**Working on a rota basis including days, nights, sleep ins waking nights, weekdays and weekends. Must be able to work all shifts.**

You’ll be working in one of our Supported Living facilities in Dover. Adults with Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviour.

**Essential Specification of a Senior Support Worker**:

- Driving licence
- 6 months previous experience as a Senior/ Team Leader
- Flexibility Must be fully flexible to work **ALL** shifts including days, nights, sleep ins, waking nights and weekends
- Be mature minded and be able to forward plan
- Able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
- Be patient and understanding
- Be able to work strategically

**Responsibilities of a Senior Support Worker include**:

- Assisting with all aspects of personal care including bathing, showering and incontinence care
- Assisting with moving and handling using the aid of hoists, wheelchairs and slide sheets
- Supporting service users to maintain an active activities schedule including accessing the community and home based
- Food preparation
- Domestic duties
- Administering medication
- Completing literate and comprehensive daily notes
