We are looking for an experienced workshop manager to oversee the daily running of our busy factory. Commercial Vehicle Bodies Ltd produce new truck bodies for new and old chassis and carry out repairs.

Ideally, we are looking for someone that has previous experience in the HGV repair trade but experience in management is essential. However, the ability to learn a new trade quickly or turn their hand to most things would also be considered.

You would also need to be able to build a new body with training so whilst this is a management job it is also a hands on job.
- Managing workshop team members
- Coordination of the workload
- Managing Performance and training
- Overseeing repairs, refurbishments, and new build lorry bodies
- Ensuring Health and Safety Standards are adhered to
- Communicating effectively with all other managers and team members to ensure seamless operation
- Producing accurate quotations
- Implementing quality controls to all jobs
- Build new lorry bodies

**Requirements & Qualities**
- Great communicator with the ability to motivate others
- Previous experience in HGV repairs and building advantageous
- Initiative-taking person with a passion to produce a product to the highest standard
- Ability to work to a deadline and problem solve
- Previous experience of team leading
- Have a can-do attitude to any challenges
- Be able to connect well to the customers and other colleagues across business areas
- Be willing to learn how to be a commercial vehicle body builder
