This will be working as a Marketing and Communication team,
You will devise, deliver, monitor and evaluate integrated and cost-effective marketing and communications campaigns, utilising the full marketing mix, to meet student recruitment targets. You will have specific responsibility for managing undergraduate andteacher training marketing campaigns and conversion communications with enquirer and offer holders and will also be responsible for the monitoring and reporting of marketing activities across the portfolio.
You will also work with the Senior Recruitment Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager across the whole of the IOE's portfolio to launch new programmes, deliver high-profile campaigns and develop longer term marketing strategies which enhance the Institute'sreputation and increase customer lifetime value.
The IOE Marketing and Communications team has a key role to play in supporting the senior management team and heads of academic departments in consolidating and growing our academic activities.
The principal duties of the team are:
- Developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies in support of the strategic objectives
- Identifying potential students and developing high-level campaigns
- Delivering high profile events, including student recruitment events, on time and within budget
- Developing and implementing appropriate documentation for the management of marketing projects including proposals, project plans, progress and status reports
- Managing external marketing tools, including the website, and maintaining an overview of websites/microsites across the business
- Promoting IOE programmes at local and UK recruitment fairs and events, and at external institutions, in conjunction with the business
- Liaising with UCL Press Office to maximise the IOE's media profile
- Overseeing effective internal communication
- Implementing a consistent brand identity for the business **Essential**:
A relevant marketing / communications qualification or equivalent business experience
Experience of delivering marketing campaigns across print, digital and web and analysing and reporting on results
Experience of briefing and managing suppliers
Desirable:
Experience of working in Higher Education and knowledge of issues relating to HE marketing
The ability to conduct analyses using spreadsheets and databases and interpret and disseminate information appropriately and to high standard of quality in terms of presentation and accuracy
Experience of handling budgets and monitoring and reviewing budgetary expenditure
An adaptable and organised approach to work, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, exercise your own initiative and work independently as appropriate
Experience of using Google Analytics
