I am delighted to work with this successful and well-established global cosmetics business that manufacturers, distributors and markets all the beauty products across several categories. They're looking for an experience Director for their Supply Planningdivision in global function.

The primary role is to set the strategy across global supply function across capacity, production, inventory, and supply planning. You will also manage a large team, coach and develop them as well set the vision and establish a growing culture within thebusiness.

You will be a skilled Director across operational planning for in-house manufacturing, deployment planning across the network of global DCs, inventory & supplier management and master data management. You will be ambitious, pragmatic in your approach & anatural problem-solver with exceptional influencing skills & a change agent personality to support business' culture development.

The expected results are inventory optimisation, development & implementation of the key metrics for supply, continuous improvement of the function, team development & growth, and startegic project management across the hub.

Day to day bits:

- Operational Planning of In-House Factories, including production scheduling, material and capacity planning
- Deployment planning across the network of global DCs and availability management in partnership with global markets
- Inventory and Service focussed improvement, linked to the company S&OP cycle
- Strategic supplier management and initiative planning, as well as Master Data
- Coach, develop & lead the Planning team to enhance their full potential
- Set the strategy and business culture to support the growth of the company
- Manage the team strategically across project management of Supply Chain projects such as Supply Network Design & change - new DCs and markets, new software tools.

You will bring:

- Extensive experience as a Head of/Director across Supply Planning in Blue-Chip FMCG matrix organisation
- Proven strong management experience across several supply chain functions
- Excellent analytical skills - ERP systems implementation experience, transforming, developing, integrating
- Excellent project management skills - strong hands-on multi-tasker that works extremely well under pressure
- Strong influencing leadership experience internally & externally in a complex organisation
- Highly driven, confident, collaborative, ambitious & bold problem-solving approach
- Bachelor's Degree as a minimum qualification
