**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide care, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Offer specialised dementia care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients with cognitive impairments.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients during transfers.
- Administer medication as prescribed, following all relevant protocols to ensure client safety.
- Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Maintain a clean and organised living space for clients, contributing to their overall well-being.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, facilitating their engagement in the community.

**Skills**
- Strong background in patient care, with a focus on senior care practices.
- Experience in Mental health is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of first aid principles and practices is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and patience while interacting with clients.
- Proficient in medication administration protocols within a nursing home setting or similar environment.
- Capable of meal preparation that caters to individual dietary needs and preferences.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.80 per hour
