**What you’ll be doing**:

- Responsible for deep cleaning kitchen equipment, appliances, and workspaces
- Maintain spotless cleanliness across prep and cooking areas
- Wash trays, utensils, and tools to a high standard
- Ensure hygiene standards are met daily
- Work as part of a supportive, fast-paced kitchen team

**Who we’re looking for**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a KP or cleaning role in a commercial kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, hard-working and proactive — you take pride in your role
- Comfortable working in a busy food production environment
- Flexible to help where needed in the kitchen

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a vibrant food production environment. The Kitchen Porter plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-equipped for food preparation. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the culinary field within a restaurant or hotel setting.

**Duties**
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Wash, dry, and store kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and dishes efficiently.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as required.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety regulations.
- Do daily/weekly deep cleaning of kitchen.
- Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste.
- Support the kitchen team by assisting where needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary environment is essential.
- A strong willingness to learn and help within a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy production days.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Understanding of basic food hygiene practices is preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the operational needs of the establishment.
