We are looking for a finance assistant to support our financial department. The responsibilities of a finance assistant include processing payments, updating financial records, and managing invoices.

Finance Assistant Responsibilities:

- Processing and preparing financial invoices
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Placing orders
- Following up on invoices.
- Collecting and reviewing financial data reports and reporting discrepancies
- Provide administrative support during month end and quarterly budget preparation
- Update financial records
- Any other duties within the remit of the role and pay grade

Monday - Friday : 8am - 3pm with half an hour lunch

Skills and experience Required

Work experience as a Junior Finance Assistant or similar role
- Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Good knowledge of MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. RM Finance)
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
