Our Quality officer will be part of the Quality Assurance department, reporting to the Principal Quality Officer.
**This includes**:
- Review and approval of labels for use in manufacturing areas.
- Inspection and release of incoming raw material/packaging components/Finished Product.
- Generation, review and approval of SOPs.
- Review and approval of documentation (Logs, Product Specifications, Test Methods, Validation documents).
- Review and approval of Batch manufacturing records and Batch packaging records.
- Training (undertaking or coordinating training sessions).
- Liaison with Client, Qualified Person, Suppliers and external contractors/suppliers for Quality matters.Assisting with internal investigations into Deviations and complaints.Internal Audits (scheduling, performing and addressing findings with production/QC).
- A science-based degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years QA experience within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry
- Good understanding or Pharmaceutical of quality system.
- Working knowledge of The Human Medicines Regulations 2012 as amended, The Rules Governing Medicinal Products in the European Union (EudraLex Volume 4), and the US Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, relating to pharmaceutical products.
- Competency and experience using Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Access & word) and electronic Quality Management Systems (e.g. Q-Pulse).
- Knowledge of The Blue Guide: Advertising and marketing materials would be advantageous.
- Training and experience conducting internal and supplier audits preferable.
