Redbourn Park School focuses on the needs of KS2 students with autism. Our highly skilled and resolute team provide a learning experience to our students who have complex educational needs requiring therapeutic behavioural support. To support our trainedteam, we have key input from specialists in OT, SaLT, SEMH, PDA and attachment. The school was established in September 2021 with 3 students and we have the capacity to educate 8-10 KS2 students. Due to our quick growth and the importance of sensory and motor skill needs within our school, we are looking for an Occupational Therapistwho can join our team either part or full time. During the first term, we have established positive relationships with families and professionals which has allowed us to support our students holistically. To quote a parent: **"The experiences he's having are helping with his life and social skills. Differentiated learning and therapies aimed at his particular needs and strengths means he is thriving for the first time since he started preschool."** We have achieved these remarkable results: - With project style learning and a unique pupil-centered approach. - Teaching indirectly by arranging lessons, activities, and experiences that enhance learning opportunities and engage students into practicing reading, maths, social skills, citizenship, computing, PE, RE, art, music, history, geography, and more. We wish to hire a therapist with: - SEND experience - Drive - Commitment to supporting our values and ethos - Desire to contribute to the development journey of all our students This role has a wide salary range to allow for the consideration of 1 - 2.5 days per week.
