We are currently looking for an experienced & knowledgeable commercial vehicle PDI Technician.

Our client is an approved **DAF Truck** dealership and is on the lookout for a fully skilled **Commercial Vehicle Technician**. As the new Technician, you will join a friendly team which will see you working the following shifts in our clients approved DAF dealership

**Working 5 days a week, 8:00am to 4:30pm**

As an HGV Mechanic we will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:

- Time served Technician with City & Guilds or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year post Apprentice experience.
- Diagnostics
- Safety Inspections
- Routine Maintenance
- General mechanical ability.
- Enthusiastic, Team Player, Flexible.

It would be advantageous if you had:

- DAF product experience.
- Irtec Licence.
- HGV Licence.

Your main duty as an experienced Technician will be to ensure all automotive customers vehicles are back on road within the shortest time possible. As the Technician you will be required to service, adjust, and repair vehicles or components using the tools in a safe and proper manner, efficiently, within the allocated time and to the required standard.

**Salary**: £33,000.00-£34,400.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
