When you love what you do, you’ll never have to work a day in your life. And you love being active and spending your time outdoors. So, providing day to day supervision of Outdoor Sports Facilities, as required for this role, should be a breeze.

You’ll be responsible for preparing activity areas and ensuring that equipment is stored and made secure when not in use. And when you notice any equipment or sporting premises needs maintenance, it’s good practice to report it.

As the Outside Facilities Caretaker, taking care is literally in the job description, and this includes caring for both customers and the sporting equipment. And you should be able to carry out general administrative duties and updating the lost propertysystem when appropriate.

But you won’t be working alone, you’ll belong within a team, which means you need to be able to work well with others, especially someone like the ground’s contractor, for example, to ensure the pitches are well maintained and ready for use. And you shouldbe committed to attend one NPLQ training session per month to keep your qualification valid.

You must have a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, First Aid at Work Qualification, and a valid UK Driving Licence.

**Salary**: £19,800 per annum
