Gama Aviation is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of FBO Security to lead and enhance security operations across our Fixed Base Operation (FBO) network. The role involves managing and structuring all FBO security activities, ensuring compliance with CAA regulations, and fostering collaboration with key stakeholders, including CAA, ICTS, Ports of Jersey, AGS Ltd, and FBO location teams.

You will be responsible for reviewing current security practices, implementing improvements, and establishing robust systems to maintain high standards in operational performance, compliance, and customer service. This role is pivotal in setting up new operations and maintaining consistent security and quality across all Gama Aviation FBO locations.

**/ **Responsibilities**:

- To ensure all security activities, procedures and policies is in accordance with the latest CAA regulations and ensure compliance.
- Review and drafting of Gama Aviation SP(s) and ensure officers adhere to SOP’s, appearance standards and expected behaviours
- Lead the team to maximise co-operation leading to the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.
- Lead and work together with other departments to ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
- Implement robust systems in order for;
- All paperwork and administrative duties to be completed and audited in a timely manner and relevant information is forwarded where appropriate.
- Compliance of all CAA, and HSE procedures, keeping fully updated with changes to procedures or new procedures.
- Consistency of operational performance, by reviewing, revising, and implementing practices and liaising with FBO staff
- Oversight and assurance program to be established
- Ongoing compliance and competency of FBO staff
- Writing and amendments of all Standard Operating Procedure for Security.

**/ **Skills, Qualifications and Experience required**:

- Extensive experience of delivering and leading compliant security operations within aviation and specifically at airports
- Proven experience in a team leadership role within a regulated environment.
- Strong background in resource planning, operational delivery, and performance monitoring.
- In-depth understanding of aviation security regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and departments for effective, integrated solutions.
- Commercial awareness of the aviation industry, with an eye on operational requirements and developments.
