**Role Objectives**:

- To lead on the delivery of our community football development plan.
- To lead on the recruitment, training, and development of staff and volunteer coaches.
- To lead on the growth of additional community health and wellbeing activities within the local area focusing on underrepresented groups.
- To manage efficient day-to-day operations of all Football in the community provisions at The New Croft Foundation.
- To provide football development support and advice to our grassroots football provision and wider community.
- To support and lead in providing excellent sporting facilities, therefore increasing physical activity on The New Croft site.
- To lead on the Foundations fundraising strategy supporting both growth and opportunity.
- To lead on the delivery of our marketing plan which includes our social media platforms.
- To be a positive team member, bringing creative and innovative ideas to a forward-thinking team.
- To always work safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- To work with key partners both locally and regionally.

**Person Specification**

**Key Skills and Experience Required - Mandatory**
- A passion, knowledge and understanding of Football Development.
- A passion, Knowledge and understanding of Sports, Leisure and community facilities.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Excellent internal & external stakeholder relations and customer service skills.
- To have the ability to Lead, manage, train, and supervise a team of staff including development officers, coaches and education-based staff.
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of funding sources to support capital projects.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a dynamic team whilst also showing you can demonstrate individual initiative.

**Key Skills and Experience Required - Desirable**
- A degree level qualification or at least two years’ sports development experience
- A good knowledge of the work and role of The New Croft Foundation and Haverhill Community Sports Association (HCSA).
- Practiced at developing networks and relationships with a variety of stakeholders to support the delivery of strategic priorities.
- Knowledge and understanding of working with volunteers.
- A UEFA B (or working towards) or above coaching qualification.

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
