Accounts Assistant

We have a rare opportunity to join the accounts team at Ocean Automotive in the role of Accounts Assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading automotive groups. Operating in Dorset and Somerset, Ocean Automotive represent the Audi and Volvo brands retailing both new and approved used cars, along with manufacturer approved servicing, repairs and parts. We also operate two group accident repair businesses; Poole Accident Repair and Yeovil Accident Repair.

In this role, you will be predominantly responsible for:

- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assisting with month end and year end closing
- Providing ad hoc reports as and when requested.
- Various reconciliations including, warranty, intercompany accounts, company credit cards and finance products, used and demonstrator stock and other vehicles

Ideally, you will have:

- 2 plus years’ experience as an Accounts/Credit Controller Assistant or similar position
- possess excellent accuracy
- attention to detail
- be extremely well organised,
- able to prioritise your workload effectively
- **The role will be based at our Head Office in Poole, 40 hours per week, working 5 days a week.**_
