Are you a dynamic and experienced Group Safety Manager looking for a new role where you can lead all aspects of Health and Safety across three UK sites?

Serve Talent have team up with a successful utilities management business based in Suffolk and they're looking for a Group Safety Manager to join their team and this could be the next step in your career.

With the role, you will act as an advisor to the board, management and staff alike, working effectively from the office and in the field and here are the essentials for the Group Safety Manager:
**Essential and desired qualifications and skills**:

- Member of IOSH - either a Chartered Member or working towards Chartered Member Status.
- Experience within the electricity distribution/generation/transmission sector.
- Experience in the arboriculture and forestry sector.
- Extensive H&S experience operating in a senior management-level role.
- Strong technical knowledge of relevant health and safety regulation.
- Strategic thinker with sound judgement and strong analytical skills.
- Driven to achieve continuous improvement, innovation, and new ways of working.
- Commercial awareness, and confidence in engaging clients and stakeholders.
- Full UK driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout UK, including overnight stays.

**This is how your main duties and responsibilities will look**:

- Effective, visible leadership in all aspects of health and safety - championing a safety-first culture, and supporting staff in delivering the safety strategy.
- Monitoring and reviewing all aspects of health and safety - audits, inspections and investigations, and pinpointing areas for improvement and development.
- Work with directors and senior management to develop and implement improvements to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Engaging with clients and external stakeholders.
