Sale, United Kingdom Banana Moon Day Nursery - Sale Full time

Calling all Cooks in and around Sale Opportunity in central Sale to work at a children's day nursery, 4hours per day to prepare freshly cooked dinners, close to town centre and Sale tram stop.

As part of this role you will be responsible for preparing balanced and nutritious meals and snacks for all of the children who attend the nursery throughout the day.

We provide breakfast, 2 snacks, lunch and high tea with pudding.

The role would require food preparation and cooking and previous experience is essential

**As a cook, we would expect you to**
- Have a clear understanding of HACCP principles as well as COSHH
- Comply with Safer Food Better Business and Banana Moon record keeping, policies and procedures
- Have a good knowledge of allergens
- Experience of Environmental Health
- Experience in catering with religious and cultural preferences in mind
- Be able to promote healthy eating and nutrition
- Be able to order and maintain stock and maintain a budget
- Keep a clean and hygienic kitchen
- This role will require a DBS check at enhanced level to be obtained and 2 satisfactory references.

Required experience:

- Food Preparation: 1 year
- Food Safety: 1 year

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
