Dating back 400 years, the hotel takes its name from Izaak Walton's eponymous book, published in 1653. The hotel is a hub of social activity, home to 64 bedrooms, two restaurants and five event spaces. - **About the role**:_

As **Maintenance Assistant** you will assist with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the hotel.

**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Complete maintenance work across all departments
- Respond to reported maintenance faults
- Supporting with proactive maintenance plans
- Respond to maintenance-related call-outs when required
- Ensuring the hotel is both safe and functional for our guests, by conducting regular checks
- **About you**:_
- Must have previous experience in a similar role, ideally from a hotel environment
- Good knowledge and understanding of general maintenance; redecoration, plumbing, electrical
- Good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety
- Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes
- Flexible to work both during the week and at weekends
