**Job Title**:Residential Childcare Practitioner

**Where you will be based**:Sunderland, SR3

**Provision**:2 Bed Children's Home

**The Service Users**:Children aged 7 to 17 with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD)

**What does Progression look like**:Progressive pay scale based on experience, qualifications, and performance. First access to other RSW, and senior roles in the company before these get advertised.

**Working Week and Pay**:

- **Hours**:2 days on, 4 days off shift pattern, including 6 to 8 sleep-ins per month
- **Sleep-in Rate**:£52 per sleep
- **Salary**:£29,000 to £31,600 (inclusive of sleep-ins)

**What you will need/None-Negotiables**:

- **Qualifications**:It is desirable that you hold Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare, or Level 3 Diplomas in Social or Children Care.
- **Experience**:Desirable to have experience working in a similar setting, such as working with children with challenging behaviour or complex needs (not including care assistant for the elderly).
- **Driving Licence**:Full driving license is essential.
- **Fluent in English**:Good verbal and written communication skills.
- **Min Age**:21
