**IT Support Technician**

**We are currently looking for an experienced IT Support Technician on a full-time permanent contract to join the team at our client's head office in Telford.**

**Annual Salary: £25.000/£30.000 (depending on experience)**

**Responsibilities**

The role will involve:
Reporting and communicating with the Head of IT you will be maintaining and running all network and hardware requirements for two sites within the Shropshire area.

**Requirements**:

- New User/PC setup, occasional PC/Server Build
- Network config & use. Switching & Cat6 termination
- Working in Office 365 Environment.
- Administration of Anti-Virus software
- Repairing Hardware such as Laptops, PCs and Printers to minimise disruption to end users
- Contribute to department knowledgebase
- Remote support via TeamViewer
- Assisting with ongoing IT projects
- Respond to system down requests immediately
- Create and maintain company reports
- End user Support.

**Skill Set**
- A qualification/education in an IT related field
- Previous experience in an IT Helpdesk/Project environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills,
- Experience with Office 365 administration,
- Experience of Virtual machines.
- VPN Knowledge.
- Proven experience of troubleshooting Hardware and Software problems
- Ability to work independently or part of a small team
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technically minded end users
- Liaising with 3rd party support teams/consultants
- Ability to prioritise workload
- ‘Can-do’ positive attitude essential
- Quick to learn and able to adapt to change of environment
- Due to the nature of the role a flexible approach to working hours is required as out of hours support maybe required
- Willingness to learn new skills
