We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts to join our growing team of Home Care Assistants supporting our clients in the evenings at home. We call our Home Care Assistants ‘**Care Professionals’** because we do not just deliver ‘care’ tasks and leave. We carefully match our clients and Care Professionals based on similar hobbies and interests and our care call is a minimum of 1 hour long. This is so you will have time to deliver an excellent standard of care and there is always time for a chat.

We provide high quality, person-centred care to enable our clients to live as fully, safely, and independently as possible at home. Our services are non-medical and can include companionship, home help, personal care, meal preparation, post-hospital care, support with hobbies & interests and much more

**Job Description**:

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who are committed to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team

As a Care Professional, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help our clients keep independent in their own homes which include Companionship, Home Help and Personal Care services.

Are you available between 5pm-10pm, on two or three evenings during the week and on Saturday & Sunday every alternative weekend? This means you will have a fixed rota to visit the same clients, this is the best way build a real relationship with them.

Our Care Professionals, do things with our clients, not to them You will be with them during their evening routine which may include:

- Preparing an evening meal, offering drinks and prompting medication
- Some light household duties and tidying up
- Assisting to wash and undress to support with their bedtime routine
- Chatting & Companionship and securing the house for the evening

**Qualifications**:
We give full training is given to all new Care Professionals, so experience in a Care setting is not essential. Access to a vehicle is preferable due to the travel between clients.
- Your smile, laugh and ability to listen will make an elderly person feel safe and give you the satisfaction that you are delivering great care and supporting them to stay home safe and independent.
- It would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. However this is not necessary.

- Excellent pay per hour: from £11 per hour weekdays and up to £14 per hour at weekends with double pay on bank holidays
