Radlett, United Kingdom Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Full time

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Consultant Clinical
Psychologist to join the leadership team in our Specialist CAMHS Tier 4
service, sharing the role with an 8c Consultant Clinical Psychologist already in post. You would work with other members of the Senior Management Team in the Forest House Adolescent inpatient Unit (FHAU), to lead the Therapy team within FHAU, and provide psychological input to the Tier 4 Home Treatment Team. As Lead for Psychological Services in Specialist CAMHS, you would also provide Consultant Clinical Psychology oversight to the Eating Disorder Team (EDT) and Crisis Team (CCATT) by providing supervision to psychologists working in those teams.

The post is based at Forest House Adolescent Unit, which is situated in
Radlett, 5 miles outside the historic city of St Albans and less than 10 miles
from London.

You would join a strong leadership group across HPFT CAMHS, with close
links to Psychologists across CAMHS and also across the Trust. In addition to the teams covered within this post, our CAMHS service includes four
community clinic tier 3 teams, a Targeted Team for CLA children and a DBT
team. Clinical and counselling psychologists are within most of these teams, from assistant psychologists up to band 8b, with over 30 Psychology posts within our service. We also have Consultant Lead Clinical Psychologist posts within our Tier 3 service and one of the two Professional Leads for Psychological Therapists in CAMHS is also a Clinical Psychologist. As well as Consultant Leads for Psychology, we also have Consultant Leads for Systemic Psychotherapy and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy.

In our Tier 4 service we value multi-disciplinary team working, with a range of therapeutic models, and our service includes psychologists, systemic
psychotherapists, nurses, OTs, art/drama therapists, social workers and
psychiatrists. We work with young people from 13-18 years, providing
specialist assessment and interventions (individual, family and group). As the most senior psychologist within the MDT, you would offer both direct clinical work and indirect work with the staff group.
