**Why Superdrug?**

Our Transport department service the Distribution Centre network and all of our Superdrug and Savers stores to ensure that we deliver the right product at the right time at an unbeatable cost. We manage our own fleet and driver agency provider, cover the operation 24 hours 7 days a week working closely with the Transport Planning department to achieve our KPI's.

**Here's the exciting bit a day includes**

**A typical day in this role includes**:
Communicating with all required departments and support functions to ensure a smooth and timely operation
Working with Transport Planning to find solutions where required
Scheduling drivers and mates into the transport schedule ensuring legal rest breaks are adhered to at all times
Communicating with drivers and mates to ensure start times are met
Maintaining and updating driver and mate capability planners and forecasting tools to ensure required cover is achieved
Working with our driver provider to ensure the plan is covered***

**What you’ll need**:
Previous resource planning experience within a transport environment (not essential)
Knowledge and understanding of WTD and EU regulations
Flexible approach to performing other duties within the transport operation as requested by your Line Manager
Attention to detail
Calm approach in a time pressured environment
Excellent time and attendance record
Intermediate experience of MS Excel and Word and Outlook
Confident and outgoing personality to communicate with driver and mates
