Cambridge, United Kingdom University of Cambridge Full time

The post holder will work with other team members to support the group's clinical research activity, by assisting with the recruitment of participants, and the coordination of clinic visits, examinations and assessments for a number of studies. They will assist in accurate record keeping, support participants through investigations, attend clinics, perform venepuncture, and complete basic laboratory processing of human samples. The nature of the studies mean that some flexibility in working hours may be required. In addition, the post-holder will need to work with a range of other teams within the hospital (e.g. Imaging, Clinical Research Facilities, Pharmacy), and consequently excellent communications skills are a necessity.

This varied and rewarding role would suit a highly motivated, meticulous individual with a personable and flexible approach. The role provides the opportunity to grow a diversity of skills and learn from experienced team members in areas such as clinical research, data management, and rare diseases. Although some prior experience of Good Clinical Practice, informed consent, blood processing and phlebotomy would be an advantage, full training will be provided.

**Fixed-term**: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.

**Closing date**: 23rd March 2025

**Interview date**: W/C 31st March 2025

The University has a responsibility to ensure that all employees are eligible to live and work in the UK.
