**About The Role**
As the second largest Building Society in the UK and the 8th largest lender, we know a thing or two about Savings and Mortgages. The Society has grown significantly over the past decade in particular and now has over 2,500 employees and 1.8 million members.
This role involves engagement with suppliers to ensure that services that have been outsourced to third parties are delivered in accordance with our contractual requirements. Initially this will involve ensuring that service requirements are comprehensivelyunderstood and expressed in procurement documents (e.g. request for proposal).
Once contracts are awarded you will ensure that agreed standards of service are consistently and effectively delivered. This will involve reviewing management information and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and address potentialissues; escalating risk events to the Senior Supplier Relationship Manager where required.
You will support the Senior Supplier Relationship Manager to manage relationships with key business partners ensuring service satisfaction and the development of new initiatives. You will achieve this through regular contact with internal and external stakeholders,in the form of meetings and telephone calls.
**About You**
You’ll have experience of dealing with business stakeholders at different levels, including Senior Management and be confident influencing those stakeholders. A positive thinker, you will use your personal style to engage people and build positive relationships.
Self-motivation is a must in this role. You will need to have the tenacity to follow up outstanding actions; holding stakeholders supportively accountable for doing what they have said they will do, when they have said they will do it.You will therefore needto be both assertive and resilient.
You’ll have strong previous experience of analysing information, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement and communicating it in a way that influences other stakeholders.
You’ll have experience of developing end to end processes taking into account overall service requirements liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required.
Strong communication skills are essential for the role and you must be organised, detail conscious and committed to meeting deadlines.
You will be passionate about the Society and its core values and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
