Fabricator/welder

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**

**-**Fabrication of various metal components to a high standard.
- MIG welding of products to a high standard.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to production schedules.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Reporting of any Machinery failures or material discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist with general workshop duties as required.

**Requirements.**

**-**Welding and fabrication experience
- MIG welding Experience
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings.
- Previous experience in a factory/workshop environment, heavy machinery, and complex assemblies.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexible and willing to take on various workshop tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of workshop tools and equipment.

**Desirable Qualifications**

**-**MMA welding experience
- TIG Welding experience
- Forklift license or lifting equipment experience.

**Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience.**

**Weld test will be required.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 36.5 per week
