**School and Science Camps and General Assistant**
**HOURS**
Working pattern 10.00-5.00 Mon-Fri during term times and 7.30-4.30 Mon-Fri during Holiday Camps. 28 holidays to be taken after last Christmas Day camp until first day of Spring term (usually between 7-10 days). Other days between term dates mostly.
**General Admin**: To make a major contribution to the successful management, efficiency and administration of the running for term classes, the time schedule for teachers.
Manage and lead the reception administrative functions and cover phones.
Word processing, producing a wide range of documentation, e.g., letters, reports, statistical information, standard documents, mail merged documents, new resources and worksheets and other necessary documents. Learn new internal software for our tutoring platform, new booking system, inputting data.
Improve internal systems for more efficient ways of working.
**Holiday Camps**: Closely working with main manager of the organisation of teacher schedule for holiday camps, the allocation of teachers and assistants. The opening and registration of children and parents. Daily printing of labels for children, registers the night before. Taking registrations over the phone and maintaining registers. Sending of electronic invoices to clients.
Sales of our books at camps. Generally in charge of the safe, disciplined and smooth running of science camps throughout each day. Set timings and breaks. Working closely with logistics personnel.
**Schools**: Working with Veronika in dealing with term dates, understand schools administrative requirements, confirming paperwork for teachers, responding to new requests, adding new term bookings to registers. Sending registers to schools. Manage the relationship with Veronika after schools are booked. Teaching classes when required.
**Parties**: Planning and advising clients of our science party plans, pricing. Liaising with teachers to schedule their parties efficiently.
**Marketing**: To support with the preparation and production of school records, reports, publications, newsletters, any other statistical returns etc. Post on social media channels daily. Create marketing plan, produce regular flyers, post small videos to FB etc and liaise with Social Media team to reuse them for campaign advertising. Work on new Product flyers: school assemblies, British science week, videos, parties, book sales
**Videos**: Maintain schedule for filming and editing. Efficiently allocate teachers to video classes for streaming purposes. Create small videos for YouTube free channel to be posted by Social Media team.
**Reporting**: Weekly reporting on progress of videos, class sales, book sales, teacher updates.

**EXPERIENCE**:
- Experience of managing a team/holding a position of responsibility
- Be an outstanding and effective administrator
- Previous experience of working with young people in one of a range of fields including education, youth work, health and social work
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Can demonstrate the ability to lead and work within teams
- Handling confidential and sensitive information
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- GCSE Maths and English Grades 9-4 (A to C) or equivalent
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience i.e., recent extensive experience working in administration
