A friendly and welcoming SEN school in Reading are looking for a qualified Speech & Language Therapist to join their supportive team in a full-time position.

This role involves working on-site with the SEN children to improve both their verbal communication and their confidence in their ability to communicate with others. This will be mostly 1:1 work, with some work with smaller groups of pupils as well.

The school is located in a lovely area in Reading with on-site parking and easy access to local transport links. The students in the school range from 4 to 16 and have a range of SEN needs - they have severe and complex speech, with associated learning and/orbehavioural difficulties. You will therefore need to be patient, understanding and resilient - this is a school where no two days are the same

The successful S&L Therapist will be expected to liaise with the occupational therapist and SENCO on site to help ensure each student's milestones are met. If you are passionate about education and communication, then this is the role for you
