**Student Engagement Officer**

**Time - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm**

**Loughborough Area**

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring Progress: Keep track of students' academic and personal development, ensuring they are meeting their goals.
- Engagement: Assist students during classes to maintain focus and participation.
- Break Management: Enable and supervise breaks to ensure students have a balanced and productive day.
- Positive Impact: Create a supportive and encouraging environment to help students who struggle in education find success.
- Support During Lessons: Help students understand the material and stay on task.
- Monitor and Record Progress: Report to teaching staff and parents as needed.
- Facilitate Breaks: Help students manage their energy and focus through structured breaks.
- Collaboration: Work with teachers and other staff to support each student's unique needs.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- GCSE’s
- Youth work experience
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
