**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and prepare daily meals for up to 60 children each day, ensuring a balanced diet and meeting all dietary needs and restrictions (allergies, vegetarian, etc.).
- Create a rotating menu that introduces children to a variety of foods and flavors, fostering healthy eating habits.
- Work closely with nursery staff to ensure meals are aligned with educational themes and activities.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety, including record keeping for compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a cook, with a passion for creating healthy and appealing meals for children.
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs specific to children aged 3 months to 5 years.
- Ability to plan menus and manage food inventory efficiently.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations, with relevant certifications (e.g., Food Safety Level 2).
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- A team player with strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with nursery staff.
