An opportunity has become available for a practitioner to joint our Growing Healthy 0-19 infant Feeding team in Wakefield District. We are looking for applicants both who are either registered nurses or midwives or have the relevant experience and skills to work as part of the integrated Growing Healthy 0-19 service.

The practitioner will work under the guidance of the Infant Feeding Coordinator to provide tailored support to mothers and families; the practitioner will have advanced experience to support mothers and families in their infant feeding journey, and work with existing local services to provide a service of seamless support.

The practitioner will have the relevant skills and knowledge to provide individualised infant feeding support, guidance and education and in having sensitive conversations to deliver consistent health and wellbeing information, making every contact count. The role will also be entail delivery of infant feeding training, and supporting the completion of the audit requirements for UNICEF accreditation.

Access to personal transport is essential in order to meet service needs.
