Our client, a leading Customer Communications company, is looking for a Digital Press Operator to join their busy team in Rotherham.

You would be responsible for running a Digital press on site, where you will manage the production of printed materials.

**Key responsibilities**:

- To load the Digital press with paper and ink/toner and ensure that a high-quality finished product is created.
- To ensure that work is printed onto correct stock supplied and to ensure that wastage is kept to a minimum.
- To work as part of a team to ensure that work is completed as per job specification and as per customer requirements for the highest quality standard, quantity, and delivery date.
- To ensure that any problems with print are raised with the Print Manager.
- To ensure all activities are recorded into SBS data flow.
- To follow all H&S policies; completing safety checklist on all machinery prior to operating, wearing appropriate PPE, ensuring work area and machinery is kept clean and maintained.
- To interact with internal departments/suppliers/customers in pursuance of the stated duties.

**Key skills required**:

- Previous experience with Xerox or Canon digital presses.
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and to a tight schedule.
- Strong communication skills.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Efficient and conscientious attitude to work.
- Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Flexible approach to fulfilling other duties, as directed by Print Manager.

**Working hours**:Monday to Friday between the hours of 06:00am and 22:00pm - Two shift patterns (Early & Late shift)
