Isms / Information Security Co-ordinator

ISMS Coordinator needed by this global professional services business. The role will involve working directly with the Chief Information Security Officer, to support with the global implementation of ISO27001 and to track the certification process.
Responsibilities are broad and will include:
- Responsible for the oversight and management of a global ISMS implementation across multiple sites following a parent child model.
- Responsible for ongoing reviews of information asset register and associated documents within the ISMS to ensure completeness and validity.
- Provide ongoing change management, and communication support for the information security programs.
- Determine and understand the impact of business changes on information security processes and compliance, and engage change supports as appropriate.
- Provide on-boarding and training to new stakeholders within the ISMS.
- Responsible for identifying, documenting and facilitating continuous improvement projects coming out of the ISMS.
- Provide ongoing support for certification and internal audits within the information security programs.
- Manage and address information security inquiries and responses from both internal and external parties in relation to information security
The right person will have a proven track record in information security and upwards of 3 years experience who has a good mix of:
- ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Controls Implementation training.
- Experience in implementing and sustaining ISO 27001 or equivalent within an organisation.
- Understanding of the unique document requirements for ISO 27001:2013 certification
- Strong understanding and experience working with Business Process Improvement or Continuous improvement models and processes related to the International Standard Organisation (ISO).
